Some rooms can feel cramped due to their layouts, especially when a bed is pushed against a wall, giving a claustrophobic impression. Lack of basic amenities like tea/coffee facilities and an apparent absence of any kind of room service, including phone access to reception, can be quite inconvenient. The peculiar fire alarm feature in some rooms may bother guests during hot weather without open windows. the dining area can become overcrowded, leading to waits for breakfast. And if you're in a room facing a busy street, you're likely to hear some noise.

my stay at sir & lady astor was wonderful! the staff were super welcoming and really helpful. my room was comfortable and clean, featuring an amazing shower. the breakfast was fantastic, with freshly made scrambled eggs and a big buffet selection. it's in a quiet area but close to the train station, making it easy to get around.
